REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!

Participants are registered into a 45 minute slot between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on the day of the chosen event. Upon receipt of payment/completion of the Paypal transaction, you will receive an email confirmation with your child’s scheduled fishing time.

Each registered child will receive a fishing rod & reel complete with terminal gear, and an event tee-shirt. Bait is provided.

Kids are encouraged to visit and experience the many other hands-on activities and exhibits in the park, including an archery range and educational kiosks. Prizes are awarded by random drawing.

The Klineline Kids Fishing Derby is open to kids of all abilities, 5 – 14 years of age.

Please note that a fishing license is NOT REQUIRED at the event for our special needs participants, regardless of age.

Kids under 15 years of age can fish year-round without a fishing license. Teens aged 15 and older and adults MUST have a Washington State fishing license on their person while fishing and all state fishing regulations must be followed during these events.

Washington freshwater sport fishing rules can be viewed by clicking here.

Participants are registered into a 45 minute time slot. Kids may fish until their time is up, or they catch their limit of two (2) fish, whichever comes first.

While walk-ins are welcome, time slots fill quickly so preregistration is encouraged.
